Did You Know? Rugby was founded by William Webb in 1823 at the Rugby School in Warwickshire, England. It is said that during a game of soccer he caught the ball and kept running towards the opponent’s goal. Since that time the game of rugby has continually developed until 1845 when the rules of the game were formatted.
