Did You Know? Jersey numbers are given out 1-99 and no two players of the same team wear the same number. In 2021 the NFL changed its long time rule to open up certain position players to have the ability to wear other unique numbers not previously available to them. The most unique numbers are the single digit numbers that you will be seeing a lot more of now that it is opened to more positional players going forward such as running backs, line backers, tight ends, wide receivers and defensive backs.
