The Youngest People Ever Elected to Office

Did you know that some of the youngest people ever elected to public office have been teenagers?
In 2015, Saira Blair made history when she took office as a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates at just 18 years old.
Not only was she the youngest elected lawmaker in the United States at the time, but she had been elected at the age of 17, before she was even eligible to vote herself.
Blair campaigned on a platform focused on conservative values, fiscal responsibility, and job creation.
Her election is a remarkable example of how young individuals can make a significant impact in politics, inspiring more teenagers to become involved in public service and civic engagement.
