What was a humorous hairstyle in the 60s? — Pop Culture Trivia
Did you know that in the 1960s, British housewives had a quirky habit of using tea leaves to predict the future?
Long before tarot cards and crystal balls became mainstream, many women would read their tea leaves after finishing their cup of tea.
They believed that the patterns formed by the leaves at the bottom of the teacup could reveal insights about their future.
This practice, known as tasseography, dates back centuries but saw a peculiar resurgence during the ’60s, often serving as a fun, social activity at afternoon tea parties.
It was a charming blend of mysticism and daily routine, reflecting the era’s unique mix of tradition and curiosity.

“I Love Lucy” was in the 1950s, not the 1960s! A quick Google search brings: “The American sitcom I Love Lucy aired on CBS from October 15, 1951 to May 6, 1957. The show ran for six seasons and 180 half-hour episodes.” I chose “Gilligan’s Island”, which was the longest running of the other three shows, which were from the 1960s. “Bewitched” aand “I Dream of Jeannie” were also good choices. I grew up watching and laughing to all three of them.

This quiz was obviously not developed by anyone who actually lived in the 60’s. Far out! Can you dig it? Lol

It’d be pretty hard for Abbot and Costello to be a comedy hit in the 1960’s since Lou Costello died in 1959.
