Did You Know? There is a plane used by NASA to train astronauts, known as the Vomit Comet, that was used in the filming of Apollo 13 that creates near-zero gravity by performing a parabolic arc, which gives between 20 and 25 seconds of weightlessness. Nasa initially said no to Ron Howard but later gave in at the request of consultant and former astronaut Jim Lovell.
