What is the smallest country in the world by land…

Did you know that the world’s smallest countries often have some of the most intriguing stories?
Take Vatican City, for example.
At just about 44 hectares (110 acres), it holds the title of the smallest independent state in the world.
Despite its tiny size, it wields enormous influence as the spiritual and administrative center of the Roman Catholic Church.
This city-state is home to St. Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel, with Michelangelo’s iconic ceiling.
It also boasts its own postal system, radio station, and even an army – the Swiss Guard, known for their colorful Renaissance-era uniforms.
Or consider Monaco, a mere 2.1 square kilometers, yet famous for its luxurious casinos, like the Monte Carlo, and its status as a tax haven.
Every May, it hosts the Monaco Grand Prix, a prestigious Formula One race that attracts the elite from across the globe.
These small nations, while limited in land mass, have managed to carve out significant roles on the world stage, both culturally and historically.
